 Exodus from Chicago

On the heels of my vaccination (I know you're wondering which one I got, and it was Moderna) I shut up my house of leaven and flew East to spend Passover with my daughters.

First I went to Washington and had the seders and the first days of the holiday with Deena and her family and Renana. The seders were great, and I got to meet Renana's partner Brooke.

Then I took the train up to Philadelphia and spent the last five days with Tamar and her family. We had lots of wonderful meals, a beautiful hike in the woods, and good times with friends.

Most of all, there is nothing that remotely compares with the joy of time with children and grandchildren. It now seems reasonable to expect that I can return to my pre-plague schedule of a visit to DC and Philly every couple of months.
