| Comment | A long, wandering collection of short essays assembled in the framework of a sort of mystery. The setting is Istanbul in the 1960's, and the descriptions of the place are beautifully written and fascinating. I enjoyed it very much, even though the constant excursuses sometimes made it hard to stay with it. |
