The Sri Lankan falafel is called vada. Its made out of lentils that you soak for a few hours and then grind in the food processor. You mix in little pieces of ginger and onion, make it into little flattened balls, and deep fry it. Its really good! The bread is the white bread from the Joy of Cooking. I finally figured out that it was coming out too dense because it called for sifted flour, and I was putting in that amount of regular flour. So I reduced the amount, and now its nice and light. Ill scan in the recipes for both of them and send them to you.
